7th Grade Math – Online Learning – Week of May 11

Assignment – Finish “Probability Carnival” Project and turn into Google Classroom by this Friday, May 15.  Our math class ends after this week.  No additional book problems or discussion questions to complete.  There will not be any final assessments or tests scheduled.  Your project is the last assignment for our math class.  Thank you for all your contributions both in class, and during our home learning, over the course of the school year.  I hope you have a wonderful summer!

Co-Op – Online Learning – Week of May 11

Assignment – School is almost over!  Everyone has a conference scheduled.  The conference sign up sheet was sent to parents a couple of weeks ago.  On that digital document is the Google Meets link to join our end of year conference.  Please arrive right at your scheduled time.  You will have 10-15 minutes until the next family joins the call.  Have your parent(s) with you on the video call, be prepared with your end of year visual and one additional topic to discuss.  The format is posted on Google Classroom and has been discussed at recent video calls.  Please review this format before the conference starts.  I will email the Google Meets link to students, parents, and the link is posted on Google Classroom, too.  If you have questions, please be sure to attend the video class on Monday at our regular 11:00 time.

Assignment – P.O.L.s were due to shared Google Drive on FlipGrid last Friday.  If you have not posted your P.O.L. to this site, please do so as soon as possible.  Video of yourself on FlipGrid due by Wednesday.  Please see all the information posted on Google Classroom under the P.O.L. assignment.  If you have extra time, you can also continue to work on the EverFi Financial Literacy self-guided modules.  Information and links were posted on previous week’s blogs and on Google Classroom.

Wednesday/Thursday/Friday

Class – Optional video office hours are Thursday at 11:00.  Google Meets invite sent by email, posted to calendar and linked on Google Classroom.  If you are having any difficulty with your P.O.L. video, please come to this video class.

Assignment – Your P.O.L. should be turned into the shared FlipGrid folder.  Your self-made video should also be posted at the FlipGrid website.  All links to FlipGrid are on Google Classroom.  As discussed over the last two weeks, you can either record a video directly on FlipGrid, or import your own.  The assignment for Wednesday – Friday is to make at least two video replies to another classmates’ video posting.  When you watch their video, you will see a reply button on the bottom portion of the video.  Click this and record a brief reply to their P.O.L.  Include what you enjoyed about their P.O.L. and what you found fascinating about their country.  Also by Friday, please complete the second semester self-evaluation rubric on Google Classroom.  This very brief reflection and the directions are on Google Classroom.  You need to complete this so that I can begin putting together your final semester rubric grades.  Thank you!
